Zoo is a not a new concept in any part of the world, which has been in existence right from the middle ages. In the science, there is a separate branch called as Zoology that studies the animals and its anatomy from which the abbreviated word Zoo is derived. A Zoo is nothing but a park or garden for the animals. In fact, in almost all the countries, towns and cities, you can visit a zoo that houses animals of the specific regions.



Over the period, zoo have undergone tremendous modernization in order to constantly update and keep pace with the developments in Zoological Sciences. In Zoo, most of the animals are generally found swaying, pacing, rocking or roaring but in many cases, you may feel that zoo animals are in distress. Nevertheless, it does not mean that animals are unhappy because in most of the zoo, sufficient care is taken to provide wild habitat and the natural food the animals. Although all the steps are taken for replicating the natural habitats in Zoo but due to the notorious human nature and for the safety of the animals and visitors, all the animals are kept in enclosures or cages.
